Spotify student discount

If you’ve never had or tried Spotify Premium, you may be eligible for 1 month free! After the free month, your subscription continues at 14 lei/month. Cancel anytime.

To get the student discount, you must be at least 18 years old and enrolled at an eligible, accredited higher education institution.

The 14 lei/month plan is available to both new users and users who have previously had Spotify Premium, provided they meet the student eligibility requirements. The free month is only available to users who have never had or tried Premium.

If you already have a Premium subscription paid directly to Spotify, you can switch to Premium Student using your existing account. The change takes effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for, once you’ve verified your student status and completed activation.

To activate Spotify Premium Student, you must:

• be enrolled at an accredited higher education institution in a country where Premium Student is available;

• find your institution listed in the SheerID verification form;

• have your student status verified through SheerID.

🔥 How to activate your student discount:

1. Slide the discount button in the app or click “Activate” on the website.

2. Select the Spotify Premium Student plan and log in to your Spotify account or create one.

3. Complete the SheerID form with your personal details and the name of your institution. If your institution isn’t listed, you’re not currently eligible for the student discount.

4. You may be asked to log in to your institution’s student portal or upload a document proving your enrollment. Follow the requirements shown in the form.

5. Wait for confirmation. SheerID will verify your student status and email you the result. Verification may take several days. If you need help, contact SheerID support.

6. Complete activation. Once verified, follow the instructions in your confirmation email to apply the discount to your Spotify account.

7. Enter or select an accepted payment method.

8. Check the price and your first payment date, then confirm your subscription.

You can get the student discount for up to 4 years. To keep it, you must reverify your student status every 12 months through SheerID.

If you don’t reverify, no longer meet the eligibility requirements, or reach the 4-year limit, your subscription will automatically switch to Spotify Premium Individual at the current price when your eligible period ends.

Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime through your Spotify account. If you receive the free month and don’t want to be charged, cancel before it ends. Spotify will notify you in advance if the price changes.

If you currently pay for your subscription through a partner, such as your mobile provider, you’ll need to cancel through that partner before subscribing again with a payment method accepted by Spotify.
